From a simple joke between friends to a benchmark game
An idea born among friends, handcrafted boxes and a guy who decided not to stop there.
1918
End of the First World War.
No relation to TTMC but it's important to remember.
2014
Maurice and his friends love to rate anything and everything. What if it became a board game?
This is how the TTMC adventure begins.
2016
The crazy idea takes shape. For 2 years, they brainstorm wacky topics, create thousands of questions (6,061 to be precise) and produce 500 boxes by hand.
No market research. No precise plan. Enough to give a marketing expert hives.
2017
Johnny Hallyday's sudden death.
Still no connection, but it's important to remember.
2018
2,000 boxes sold later, the TTMC as you know it today arrived. A more professional design, a more ergonomic box, a more polished game.
And a map about compression socks. That was sorely lacking in the first version.
And then what?
Everything is accelerating. Maurice structures the company, surrounds himself with a team, and numerous projects are launched.
New versions of the game and themed variations
Partnerships with some really great brands that we love
A translation into 9 languages
Internationalization in 13 countries
An adaptation in a TF1 program
A B2B offer for a customized TTMC for brands
The digitalization of the game via the Grooop application
Over one million boxes sold worldwide
The people behind all this
Maurice
Creator and director
A chartered accountant by training, co-founder of TTMC, and a born entrepreneur, his creativity seems to know no bounds. He built the team, structured the company, and continues to lead the adventure with the same mindset as in 2014: amused by questions about Jerusalem artichokes, serious when necessary, and always ready for new projects.
Arnaud
Project and Quality Manager
He manages projects from start to finish with a master's touch and eradicates the spelling mistakes that lingered in previous versions. He proofread this page. Twice.
Thibault
R&D and Sales Manager
His creativity is matched only by his energy. He racks his brains to come up with new gems. Then he sells them. In less than 2 hours and 18 minutes.
Anthony
Administrative and Financial Manager
He runs the machine behind the scenes. Without him, nobody would know how many boxes were sold. Or if taxes were paid.
Manon
Marketing, Communications and Events Manager
Responsible for letting the world know that TTMC exists. Mission accomplished, apparently.
